Recently, we were forced to close down our submissions for a brief time due to some technical difficulties we were experiencing with our form provider, but we are pleased to say that submissions are now open once again! We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, and hope you will submit to this issue as intended now that submissions are open. We want to thank you for you patience during this time.
You may notice when you go to submit to us that our form looks very different. Following our technical issues with our old form provider, we decided to switch services. Thanks to a generous grant we received from The Palma Foundation, and the wonderful staff at Submittable, we are now functioning with a much more professional submission service.
If you are unfamiliar with Submittable please note that it does require you to have a Submittable account in order to submit to us now. It only takes filling out a couple lines and few clicks and you'll be streamlined right into the Submittable system, able to monitor the status of, and withdrawal, your submissions at any time through your account.
All of our submission categories are now housed on one page (find the link below), and though our submission service has changed, our guidelines have not, so please continue to read and abide by the guidelines for each category of submissions. We also continue to cap writing submissions for each issue at 500 pieces, the most our teen board can handle while still giving each piece detailed consideration, so there will be times when the categories are closed, pending the upcoming submission window for the next issue. We will post about these closings and openings on our social media, as always, and art submissions will remain open indefinitely.
Thank you again for your continued patience and support through this time, we really appreciate it!
